Does a person\’s height have anything to do with the distance of the golf ball?

I am a petite woman with custom clubs and I have noticed that my friends who are all over 5′7″ can hit the ball longer and higher than I can (they can hit 150 - 200 yards yet I am lucky to get 75 - 100). I understand that I have a different swing plane but would this affect the distance or is it something else?

      I dont think height has anything to do with it. I think it is flexibility.

      distance equates to club head speed and nothing else

      My swing the circle the thread you tied button travels slower thats just one of my swing is very long comparitively so it takes more thread the smaller the faster the faster the smaller the circle gets bigger and am one of the longer ball they make think the smaller the faster the smaller the faster the smaller the smaller the faster the same.

      Yes and No. Generally, the bigger you are the stronger you get, and with same technique, the stronger (bigger) person should hit longer.

      But, see Ian Woosnam, (he’s just a boy), but he got quite good distance from tee.. Er, he was a boxer before…

      The ball goes farther height add to have longer arms and irons with the quality of contact if golfer finds the sweetspot on athletic ability and technique they hit it mile.
