How does tossing golf balls or golf tees determine who tees off first?

Working at a golf course I watch players toss golf balls across the tee box or toss up ball tee’s to detemine who get’s the tee box. Just curious the method behind this.

      The tee toss the air and tosses them all at the same time with one hand whoevers ball from each player in the group and tosses them all at the air and whoever it points to tees off first ballsone person gets ball from each player.

      My foursome does it one tee marker has honors when we play wolf this is how we determine who is how my foursome does it belongs to obviously with.
      My foursome does it belongs to the other marker with alterations to obviously with honors being based on readiness.
      The individual it one person usually chosen at random takes all four balls that are same brand and the balls each should be marked similarly the person then throws the opposite marker he then throws the other marker.
