i have renter’s insurance that covers theft from my car with a $250 deductable. However, i was having some work done on my car and a rental i had for the week was unfort. broken into and ipod & golf clubs stolen. does the fact that it is a rental change my coverage? thanks!

      You’re probably covered in this instance. Read the policy with respect to the definition of “your automobile”. It will likely include rental cars that are temporary replacement vehicles.
