The Advantages of Logo Golf Balls
Filed Under custom golf | Comments Off
Have you ever thought about what trade shows, conventions, meetings and the holidays all have in common? When you’re in a business that requires promoting your company or organization, it means gifts and giveaways to be sure potential customers remember your name, which in turn means finding a unique yet personal item to put your company name and/or logo on. Personalized logo golf balls are the ideal solution for all of your needs.
Just about everyone knows someone who plays golf or participates in the sport themselves, so your money spent certainly won’t go to waste. But it goes much further than that. A golf enthusiast is a member of a truly unique breed, who will brave any natural or manmade element to get in at least nine holes. They live, eat, and sleep the sport, traveling to the ends of the earth to play at a certain course. They collect golf trinkets and trophies, plaques and pictures, tees and t-shirts, anything and everything having to do with golf, including unique golf balls. Many such unique items are never used, but proudly displayed on a shelf for the world to see, including your company name and logo imprinted on the ball.
Of course, there are many golfers who will undoubtedly utilize your gift, driving your logo across the course and showing it off to other players in the process. If they lose the ball, that can be considered good news for you, as now the lucky finder will be well aware of you, your company and your logo.
Now let’s touch upon packaging of your golf balls, as you probably don’t want the presentation of your unique item to be in plain white packaging. If you’re a store, you have your name/logo printed on the bag or gift box for your customers. If you have a wholesale product, you ship your goods in preprinted boxes. Why would you settle for anything less than a custom package to help promote your custom golf balls? A quality, golf ball printing company will have a variety of options for you to choose from, from single-ball boxes for trade show giveaways all the way up to dozen-ball boxes as gifts for those special customers and clients on your list. And of course, your company name/logo will be incorporated into the design printed on the box.
By having custom printed logo golf balls created by a professional company that specializes in this one particular item, you’ll be more than satisfied with the end result. Just like no one knows your business better than you, no one knows custom-printed, logo golf balls better than they do.

Finding The Perfect Golf Clubs
Filed Under custom golf | Comments Off
The following article lists some simple, informative tips that will help you have a better experience with golf clubs.
Hopefully the information presented so far has been applicable. You might also want to consider the following:
If you think any old golf clubs will do, you haven’t been on the course trying to compensate for a club that’s simply too long or two short. Besides making a shambles of your golf game, ill-fitting clubs can leave your body aching after the game. If you’re spending all your time compensating, you probably aren’t shooting your best or even enjoying the time on the course.
So does that mean that you’re going to spend hundreds of extra dollars on a set of clubs with a custom fit? While custom clubs are one answer, most people can find what they need from a well-stocked golf store. But there are some things to keep in mind.
Length of the club is important, but it’s not everything. The pros say that the size of your golf club’s grip should be comfortable for your hands. That’s why clubs for younger players and women often have a smaller grip.
If you should decide to go for a set of custom clubs, what is the process? It’s nothing like be measured for a suit. The point is not only to make the club reach from the point of your outstretched hand to the ground, but also to make the most of your body - your strengths and your weaknesses. So don’t go for your custom golf club fitting session expecting to spread your arms and stand still while someone uses a tape measure.
A good custom fit will probably take place both inside and outside. The best custom fit clubs will be tailored so that your swing is taken into account. Sound expensive? Possibly.
While some major golf club manufacturers will charge (dearly) for the actual “fitting,” many offer up this service for free, with your commitment to buy clubs from that company. While custom clubs are more expensive than clubs purchased “off the shelf” from your local golf supplier or even from an outlet store or individual, the results will probably show themselves right away on the golf course.
Consider the shots that you may have been compensating for all your years of playing golf. If you’re taller or shorter than the “typical” golfer, or even if you have some muscle strengths or weaknesses that make your game a bit more of a challenge, custom clubs can help you compensate.
But what if you want the clubs immediately? Do you have to go with “off the shelf” clubs? Actually, many manufacturers who provide custom golf clubs promise delivery within just a few days, a week or two at most.
Among the few negatives of custom golf clubs is the potential for offering them up as a surprise gift and the potential for resale. But at the same time, the golfer who is going to receive the custom clubs will likely gladly give up the “surprise” and most who go to this expense and trouble aren’t going to offer the clubs for sale.
Only you can decide whether custom golf clubs are a good investment for you. If you’re going to spend a bundle of money for an awesome set of clubs, you may very well take the extra step to get custom clubs.
There’s a lot to understand about golf clubs. We were able to provide you with some of the facts above, but there is still plenty more to write about in subsequent articles.

I am going to buy new irons for this golf season. I am wondering if getting them custom fit is really necessary. I found the set that I would like to buy, but found them used at the same store for $100 dollars cheaper. How important is getting your clubs custom fit?

“More than 90 percent of the test cases reported improved performance with their custom-fit clubs. Mid-handicappers lowered their handicap by two or more strokes on average within a few short months.Elite players aren’t necessarily scoring better (it’s difficult to drop it much when you hover near scratch), but they’re seeing greater consistency. Many players who were fitted strike their new clubs up to one full club longer with irons and 10 to 20 more yards on drives. They’re having more fun playing the game, too. A poll of golf.com readers reveals similar satisfaction levels.” - from Golf.com
People Are Like Snowflakes, No Two Are Alike
Consider these differences between golfers:
In general, women golfers are shorter than male golfers and likely to have smaller hands and not swing as fast, therefore requiring more flexible shafts and smaller grips.
Golfers who are older may suffer from hand or joint related pain and may require grips that might be larger and softer. They may also need graphite shafts to help dampen some of the unwanted vibration at impact.
Golfers who are beginning or are less skilled should have different equipment than those who can strike the ball in the middle of the face on a consistent basis.
If you score is high, then you should seek as much game-improvement features into the clubs as possible.
Shorter golfers generally need shorter clubs and taller golfers more length.
All of these factors must be taken into account when purchasing a set of golf clubs. By properly fitting the golfer according their size, needs and ability the best possible golf set will be created yielding the lowest scores.

Golf Equipment
Filed Under custom golf | Comments Off
When you think about Golf Equipment, what do you think of first? Which aspects of Golf Equipment are important, which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? You be the judge.
Once you begin to move beyond basic background information, you begin to realize that there’s more to Golf Equipment than you may have first thought.
Blaming your moves, shots and swings for your golf mishit’s and mishaps? Well, no matter how much time and effort you have been spending over practicing your moves to perfect your game, you still won’t achieve your goal if you use unsuitable or defective types of golf equipment, will you?
Now is high time for you to consider the following golf tips that involve checking on your equipment’s quality.
If you plan to choose used golf clubs as beginner’s tools, scrutinizing before purchasing is a must. The club heads, the shafts, and the grips are golf club parts that should pass inspection first before landing a decent spot in your golf equipment cabinet. Another excellent golf tip that will get you through the game is making sure that the set of used golf clubs you’re eyeing have set consistency. It will also help a lot if you check first the price of new clubs vs. used.
A golf tip for a golfer that plans to regrip his clubs: Be cautious. This is because the grips are the only contact points one can access to affect the shot. Before carrying out the regripping, know the core grip of the club and your hands grip size. To determine your core size grip, measure the diameter of the butt of the shaft you’re going to re-grip. The shaft’s diameter should match the grip’s core diameter. In determining your hands grip, the available size grips are regular, mid-size, oversize and jumbo. Use only the best re-gripping materials that will provide optimum performance for your golf clubs.
Another golf tip or advice is that using ill-fitted clubs will be an obstacle to your golf playing success. A golfer must consider his or her body type in choosing the best-fitting equipment to support and deliver his back swings efficiently. Too steep angles in carrying out back swings may be avoided if one selects the perfect fitting equipment available.
Custom golf club fitting makes a better option than just buying new golf clubs. Getting custom fitting golf clubs is a golf tip that translates to a very worthy investment. The uniqueness of each person is attributed to the need of this way of buying new golf clubs. A custom fitting produces golf clubs that specifically suit the height, strength, swing characteristics and club head speed of the golfer.
The type of club shaft also helps in predicting whether you’ll do good in a game or you won’t. There’s a choice between a steel club shaft and a graphite-made club shaft. This golf tip aims to make you realize which type of golf club shaft will benefit your game. Observations tell that the steel club shafts are more preferred by professional golfers while graphite shafts become more popular with women, senior players and beginners. Steel shafts are less expensive than graphite shafts though.
One more golf tip that could help you is that the golf clubs that must be the main content of your bag must suit your skill level. Since various skill levels need various golf clubs, it won’t be wise to just use or bring a golf club that is just lying around. And, don’t ever forget about the maximum golf club load your bag is allowed to hold. You can only bring 14 golf clubs in your bag. No more. No less. Aside from your skill level contemplation, your mastery of a certain golf club and your being comfortable with using it must also be put into consideration in deciding which golf club to hit.
A good combination of the right moves and good choice of equipment will better arm you to become the best golfer you could ever be.
Take time to consider the points presented above. What you learn may help you overcome your hesitation to take action.

Does a person\’s height have anything to do with the distance of the golf ball?
Filed Under custom golf | 8 Comments
I am a petite woman with custom clubs and I have noticed that my friends who are all over 5′7″ can hit the ball longer and higher than I can (they can hit 150 - 200 yards yet I am lucky to get 75 - 100). I understand that I have a different swing plane but would this affect the distance or is it something else?
